Meet Our Staff

Dr. Ann Rankin is the owner of Rankin Animal Clinic. She is a 1997 graduate of Auburn University with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is passionate about client experience and getting to know her clientele and patients on a personal level. She provides exceptional geriatric healthcare, dentistry, and general surgery. You may see Dr. Ann around town enjoying yummy food, boating on the river, and taking her dogs on a walk. 

Dr. Elisabeth Duplantis is a veterinarian that has been with the practice since 2019. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2008. The areas of veterinary medicine she loves include emergency medicine, ultrasound, and chronic disease management. You may see her around town with her family, boating on the river, and riding her horse.

Dr. Lauren Lackey is a veterinarian that has been with the practice since 2021. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2012. Her fields of interest include emergency medicine and immune mediated disease. When not at the clinic, she is enjoying time with her family and exercising.

Amanda is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that has been a part of our team since 2015. Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with her amazing dachshunds. She has a special interest in dentistry, laser therapy, and intensive care for sick patients.

Taylor is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that has been a part of our team at since 2017. Taylor enjoys traveling and hanging out with friends and family. Her attention to detail, friendly client service, and clear communication involving patient care and well-being makes her an asset to the Rankin team.

Kristen is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that has been a part of our team since 2019. Kristen enjoys expressing her creativity with arts and crafts alongside her beloved chihuahuas. She has a special interest in cytology, disease management, and dentistry.

Bethany is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that has been a part of our team since 2021. Bethany enjoys time with her very active family, attending her daughters extracurricular activities. She has a special interest in feline medicine, anesthesia, and leadership.

Heather is a veterinary assistant that has been a part of our team since Rankin Animal Clinic was opened in 2008. Heather enjoys time with her very active family of boys. She has an amazing calming effect on our patients and makes their time with us more enjoyable.

Laureal is a veterinary assistant that has been a part of our team since 2018. Laureal enjoys time outdoors whether on the river in a boat or working with trained hunting dogs. She has a special interest in working dog medicine and behavior/training in young pets.

Kathryn is a veterinary assistant that has been a part of our team since 2016. Kathryn enjoys time with her basset hound and pet turtle. She has a special interest in geriatric medicine and singing to our patients when they are nervous.

Chelsea is a veterinary assistant that has been a part of our team since 2020. Chelsea enjoys making fancy coffee drinks, shopping, and enjoying the sunshine on the beach. She is a true team player at the clinic along with providing loving care for our patients while they board with us.

Janet is a Client Service Representative that has been a part of our team since 2013. Janet enjoys sunny days on the river and spending time with friends and family around a bonfire. She is exceptional at taking amazing care of our clients and always answering the phone with a friendly voice.
